In 2017, Ghost IT Services moved to its new office Headquarters at North Weald Airfield, which is located in the Epping Forest District of Essex. We’re extremely proud to be located on the Airfield that served our country with such distinction during both World Wars.
We share the airfield with a number of small business and emergency services, including the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance service, Essex Emergency Services and we’ll also be joined later this year by the Metropolitan Police Helicopters. We also host the famous North Weald Market every Saturday and Bank Holiday Monday.
Our door is always open!
We welcome all prospective and existing Clients to come and visit our head office and find out more about where the magic happens! The kettle is always on and our Administrator Lesley makes a fantastic cup of Tea, but you may prefer checking out one of the Airfields nostalgic Cafes during our visit, which include the wings Café and the Squadron Naffi.
You’ll find our head office at the top of the Airfield on the left hand side as you drive in. The clear branded signage outside our front door makes us very easy to spot!
There’s plenty of onsite parking available and we can always use the 6000ft runway as an overspill if required!

State of the Art Security and Data Protection.
Our Head Office is protected by 24/7 onsite and offsite CCTV recording and keypad/key fob access control.
For Business Continuity, all network operations hosted at out Head Office are also backed up and replicated at our Tier-3 Data Centre. As a fully GDPR Compliant Organisation, we constantly monitor our Network for Cyber Attacks and have highly advanced systems in place to protect our core assets and our Clients personally identifiable information.
All of our staff are required to take enhanced Disclosure and Barring service checks, which allows us to access their full Criminal Record history, including spent convictions. Our team also carries an identity card with them at all times.

On our front door is an intercom that is linked directly to our VoIP platform. This alerts us when anyone tries to access the building 24/7.
Where the magic happens.
Our Head Office is home to the Administration and Technical Support team, in addition to our Web Development and Marketing teams.
From here, we provide day-to-day Telephone and Remote Support to all of our Clients, which are mostly located across Essex, Herts and Cambridge. We also provide 24/7 Network Monitoring, closely monitoring the performance of our Clients Networks from a custom dashboard that’s setup in the helpdesk area.
The latest 3CX Unified Communications technology is used by every department in the office. We also use advanced dual feed broadband connectivity, which provides an added level of redundancy by allowing a secondary internet connection to take over if the primary connection fails.
For Wireless Connectivity, we use the latest high-performance Unifi access points that provide low latency, high uptime performance and powerful Enterprise Wi-Fi management.
Our Business Continuity Facilities.
Ghost IT also provides Business Continuity facilities at our Head Office in North Weald. These facilities form part of the Fully Managed Disaster Recovery Service that we offer to our Clients. The facilities include:
- A secure Computer room with climate control and backup power supply
- Hardware, including Desktop PCs, laptops and peripheral’s
- Fibre and Wireless Internet connectivity
- Software applications including Microsoft Office and other 3rd party applications
- 24 hour access
Our office is ALWAYS on standby for our Disaster Recovery Clients. We provide a quiet working environment for local businesses to remain fully productive in the event of a disaster, or catastrophe.

Our Network allows the ghost IT team to work both inside and outside the office. If the weather is nice, we’ll often have our weekly team meetings outside on the Company park benches. This outside area also provides the perfect place for our staff to get away from their desks during their lunch hour.

Ghost IT is an Equal Rights Employer. Our building is based on a single level and with a disabled toilet and fully adjustable desks. Entry into building is level with no steps.
